The Gangchen Samling School is officially registered under the Company Act of His Majesty's Government of Nepal and follows the official programmes in primary and secondary education. The activities of the school are carried out in English.

The Gangchen Samling School started its first academic session in the academic year 2003/2004 with 245 students along with 15 young teachers. It successfully completed its first academic year for the students of nursery to class five. From the year 2004 the school was upgraded to class six. The school management has decided to upgrade one class every year till class ten, which is the secondary level in Nepal 's school system. In the present academic year 2005/2006 there are students in the school.

The Gangchen Samling School follows the Montessori system of teaching at its kindergarten level. It enhances the children's skill to learn and store the experience more easily. The school is careful and conscious to provide a real and practical education to our little hearts. Its aim is to make the children very innovative and creative. Children between the ages of 2 ½ to four years are admitted in the kindergarten section. Currently, the School is providing Tiffin to the students of this level. The school has a variety of educational materials through which the students are taught.
